Rex Nelon Passes Away In Ireland

Rex Nelon suffered a heart attack and died just this past Sunday on January 23. He was on tour in Ireland and had just had his 68th birthday on January 19th. He retired from the Nelons a short time back, but has been traveling regularly with the Gaither Tour and this is exactly what he was doing in Ireland, giving his all right up to the last second of his life. As the Bible says, our works go before us and follow after us, and this great gospel hero has his going and coming and coming and going and shooting out in all directions, here on earth and up there in heaven, and I know heaven's angels were shouting a hallelujah entrance as the Pearly Gates opened wide. We shall miss him. This is such a recent passing, the ways to contact the family for condolences can be found on this site.
