He's back...

Kevin Mitnik, probably the most celebrated hacker yet to come down the pike, is out of prison. And John Vranesevich, founder of AntiOnline, isn't planning on attending the welcome-home party. In case you're new to the saga, Mitnick's as good at hacking as he is at getting arrested--although apparently he's quick to shift the blame to his many media critics in the statement he prepared on the advent of his de-carceration. In this editorial, Vranesevich opines on the murky future of this high-tech Billy the Kid, and no doubt his thoughts will be echoed by thousands of other skeptical realists: Mitnick forbidden to use a computer? Good luck enforcing that one.
