Sick of the oil cartel? Tired of their usurious prices keeping you from affording a weekend fishing trip? Worried about the quality of our air? While not "ready-made" solutions, the technologies detailed on these pages clearly are doable and indeed have been available for many years. Much of the technology is simple and maybe could even be duplicated on a small scale by someone with mechanical and electrical skills. Clearly written text, schematic diagrams and pictures show how easily we could become less dependent on polluting, expensive fossil fuels while using our existing vehicles. It might be a good idea to print these pages out and file them before the next oil embargo. It's well worth reading for anyone interested in cleaning up the environment and becoming more energy-independent.
