Need more evidence that we're entering a whole new world of telecommunications? The recent snowstorm that hit the East Coast really out a strain on the telecommunications network. Power lines down, you say? Not hardly. The flood of snowed-in telecommuters making all-day phone calls to their ISPs gummed up the telecom grid to an unprecedented degree.
