These gentle, lumbering aquatic animals live in shallow slow-moving rivers from Virginia to Florida. The Save the Manatee Club hosts this informative site that includes FAQ, gifts, a "manatee cam," and lots of educational content. You can even adopt a manatee to help preserve this species!
