If I had to name a single commodity which every garden or landscape needs above all else, it would have to be water. We're running out of it, the quality is deteriorating and it costs way too much. Jeff maintains this ad-free site, I can only imagine, as a labor of love. Everything you need to know about designing a sprinkler irrigation system can be located on these pages. Whether you get your H2O from a city, country or backwoods source, Jeff is there to tell you how to set up a system for your requirements. Pipes, valves, sprinkler heads, pressure...all are discussed in detail with accompanying excellent drawings. If that were not enough, you can link out to Jeff's homepage where you find--guess what?--installation tutorials, filtration tutorials, plus pumping, winterization and irrigation scheduling tutorials. Then, to top it all off, you get conversion factors, and if you have CAD capability, free software specific to irrigation systems. I just can't say enough about this site. See for yourself.
