A Bug's Life

Site: http://falcon.cc.ukans.edu/~jbrown/bugs.html

No, this is not the official website of the latest Pixar epic, or a page devoted to creepy crawlies. It's the brainchild of John C. "Jack" Brown, a university biology professor looking for a way to get his students more engaged in the subject. Bugs in the News divides its content into three sections: "What the Heck Is...?" which poses such questions as "What the heck is" an antibody, an enzyme, a virus, etc.; "General Interest," which addresses such issues as AIDS and the ummune system and the science of the flu; and "Bug Bytes," an exhaustive page of biology and general science links. This very accessible site has won numerous awards and merits a place of honor on any science enthusiast's bookmark list.
