a true-life lawyer's story

We all know how movies portray lawyers. In "The Devil's Advocate," for example, the top-gun attorney was Satan--literally. But this Law.com article provides a heads-up about a new law-themed film that sounds like a real hoot. Attorney Leon Gladstone, who pays the rent by inking deals for lurid "based on a true story" TV movies, has produced an independent "mockumentary" called "True Rights," which satirizes all the real-to-reel legal shenanigans with which he is intimately familiar. Gladstone brought his cinematic work to the recent Sundance Film Festival, where he promoted the film to distributors.
