Top » Law & Legal Issuesa true-life lawyer's storySite: http://www.lawnewsnetwork.com/stories/A14619-2000Jan28.htmlWe all know how movies portray lawyers. In "The Devil's Advocate," for example, the top-gun attorney was Satan--literally. But this Law.com article provides a heads-up about a new law-themed film that sounds like a real hoot. Attorney Leon Gladstone, who pays the rent by inking deals for lurid "based on a true story" TV movies, has produced an independent "mockumentary" called "True Rights," which satirizes all the real-to-reel legal shenanigans with which he is intimately familiar. Gladstone brought his cinematic work to the recent Sundance Film Festival, where he promoted the film to distributors. Check out the article linked above for Gladstone's wry observations about this angle of entertainment law--and remember to keep your eyes open for "True Rights" at a theater (or video store) near you.
