A two-kilometer path winds through varied ecosystems, stimulated by a "dialogue" with flora and fauna - enhanced by the Earth Links benches of sculptor Peter M. Adams. This website (suggested by a BriefMe subscriber) is now being developed by Adams into a virtual environmental experience. He describes his benches as "icons of the natural world, constantly reminding us as we sit on them of the natural word's awsome beauty, our place within this beauty, and its necessity in our lives." This is a slightly different virtual approach to art and nature, but one in which appreciation grows as you take a leisurely virtual stroll through his intriguing website. A 40-page catalogue (for $US15) is available for order, which contains photos of his Earth Links benches, some Roaring Beach stories, and many pencil sketches. Thu, 16 Mar 2000 07:30:56 -0800
