Having played and taught tennis at a variety of levels for more than 20 years, Dr. Eric Johnson has decided to share his appreciation of the game with the global village via his Off-Court Tennis website. Contrary to what its title might suggest, the site addresses numerous on-court issues, like ground strokes, serving, and strategy--but the part of the page that interests me most is the Etiquette department. The link above will take you to this section of the site. Johnson's advice is nothing if not prudent, and although more vociferous players may find the good doctor's style of play a little too hands-off, it's still a good reminder of how we should aspire to treat our opponents.
