Passin' the pipe

Well, the cat's out of the bag: 12 NBA players have been hittin' the wacky tobacky a bit too hard, and didn't detox in time to pass muster when the urine sample cups were passed around. Short of wondering why the guilty parties couldn't manage to curb their recreational activities for a drug test they had been warned about well in advance, the main question on my mind is, "Why didn't we find out 'til now?" Apparently, the pee poll was taken in the fall, and Groundhog day has already come and gone. The good news: our pothead pros get two more chances to come clean before being suspended.
