Be patent!

I had a good idea once. I dreamt about it for years, designed and redesigned it a thousand times in my head, and then I saw it in K-mart. If only I’d patented my idea before anyone else had thought of it...before they stole my idea. (They must have used some sort of thought transfer). So how can one check these things out? How do you get a patent on your brilliant idea? A patent attorney will tell you all, and for a few thousand dollars you might learn what’s necessary. But you say you have no money to burn? Then seek out a Patent Office website and let them explain it to you. The UK site gives a clear and easy-to-understand description of all the elements involved. Well worth a visit.
