Just Call Me Opera Man

Call me a hayseed, but I don't know doodledy squirt about this fancy opera stuff. That's why this dictionary and pronunciation guide to opera terms is such a great find. The common terms, like aria and prima donna, are all here, but it's the arcane ones, like ritornello and portamento (hey, isn't that a type of mushroom?), the ones that sound like menu items, that really come in handy. Some of the musical terms even come with sound clips that illustrate the definition. It's a pity I can't bring this page to the opera with me, but it shouldn't take me long to memorize all the terms. That way, I will never be called a hayseed again!
