Geeks and Technoids to the forefront! Centropolis, "The Gateway for Sci-Fi on the Web," offers a terrific portal for scientific and technical information. Their categories include Computers, Space Travel, Medicine, Robots, Natural Science and Inventions. This targeted selection of pertinent links is reviewed and rated, so you can browse at your leisure, or zap straight to a special point of interest. Ratings are from one to five "Saturns" (kinda like stars, only smaller and cooler, y'know), with five being "Out of this Universe" and one being "Earth Bound But Noteworthy." If your interests in science fiction tend more towards hard science, this is an excellent place to start your explorations. The links include everything from biotechnology to hacking and phreaking, the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) and Funderstanding, a site dedicated to learning and technology. If you're a science fiction writer, or wannabe, this would be a terrific place to seek that spark of inspiration that could set you on the path to your first Nebula Award. Don't miss it.
