Vinyl to CD, easy as 1-2-3

There's so much great stuff on vinyl that you just can't get anymore--and any one of you out there who's got shelves and shelves of records has probably at one point fantasized about what it would be like to have all your favorite old records on CD. You could listen to them in the car, on your walkman--life would be wonderful! Well, Ted Needleman has the info you need to make your dreams come true. In his article for Investor's Business Daily, he takes you step by step through the procedure of hooking up your record player to your computer and transferring the sound to recordable CDs. Of course you'll need to plunk down about $250 for the CD drive if you don't have one already--but that's cheaper than throwing out your records and buying the CDs.
