FINDING THE CAUSES OF CANCER

A recent article released by the Chicago Tribune reports that scientists are trying to find the causes of fatal brain cancer and why this disease has been infecting an increasing amount of people. Although cigarette smoke and chemicals are linked to certain types of cancer, possible causes are yet to be identified for brain cancer. The National Cancer Institute is expected to produce a report about its 2 1/2-year investigative effort into this issue. Andrea M. Singh
