RELENZA APPROVED BY FDA

Relenza, the drug that has been shown to help flu sufferers, was approved by the Food and Drug Administration, according to a recent MSNBC article. Although the drug has seemingly proven to be effective to reduce the duration of flu symptoms, it has potential to negatively affect people with asthma. The drug was not recommended for approval by the FDA's advisory panel, as they viewed the drug's demonstrated benefits to not be substantial.
