Okay, you're skittish about security in the wake of recent headline-grabbing attacks by hackers. Who wouldn't be? But don't go back to slide rules and typewriters just yet; this article from the New York Post supplies you with some practical tips to inoculate your PC against being commandeered by hackers. Among the suggestions: use passwords that hackers can't crack; opt for a dial-up connection rather than, say a DSL; and invest in some anti-hacking software. These steps won't ensure your computer is safe, but like chicken soup they couldn't "hoit," now could they?
