The Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg, PA, through this free OnLine Books Page, gives every person on the Internet access to over 9000 full volumes that are well-indexed and readily available. In a few minutes, I was reading Chapter 2 of "My Life" by Leo Tolstoy. But there are also 25,000 online songs. The links to banned books, to online libraries in 30 languages, and to specialized archives (i.e. children's literature, computers, women interests) open up many more thousands of books. A great site. Every learned person should have this site bookmarked, or move next to the Library of Congress.
