We hear quite a bit about the struggles of lesbians and gay men within traditional Christianity, and a smattering about GLBT Jews. But Muslims of minority sexual orientations? Somehow, they have slipped beneath the radar of the mainstream press. Well, this site is a great step toward rectifying that oversight. Queer Jihad contains lots of info about Islamic attitudes towards homsexuality, including a much-needed collection of links to articles and sites of interest to gay Muslims. Don't miss the Comments to Queer Jihad area, but brace yourself; many of the contributions here are from those decidedly opposed to the idea that one can be devoted to the Koran and also to gay rights.
