Exquisite Lighthouses

One of the things I love about sailing is the chance it affords me to gaze on some of our nation's most beautiful lighthouses. This website provides background and color photos of the top ten most exquisite lighthouses and man alive, did it bring back some memories. Look at the majestic Cape Hatteras lighthouse, with its distinctive black and white stripes, or the stately beauty that resides on Montauk Point. These are best seen, of course, from the prow of your vessel, but if you can't visit all of them, at least catch a glimpse here. The text provides the history of each structure and links you to a host of stunning views, both inside and outside the structure. This is a great site to visit for any wayfarer of the seas.
