SAVAGE SCRIPTS

Site: http://ter.air0day.com

Remember those comic-strip-style movie parodies Mad and Cracked magazines used to run? The Editing Room offers what amounts to the screenplay versions of them, with short "scripts" lampooning both good and bad recent films. A few of the abridged scripts are written by contributors, but most come from Rod Hilton, aspiring screenwriter, and all take the same unorthodox tack toward re-viewing movies, audiences, even critical reaction (in the site's script for "Affliction," for example, the audience boos while critics rave). Movie cliches, actors playing themselves, bad scriptwriting, product placement, toy commercials disguised as action sequences, Johnny Depp's cheekbones--nothing escapes The Editing Room's biting satire. You'll have a tough time dragging yourself away from this laugh-out-loud site.
