In the U.S. women's figure skating championship that took place a few days ago, the none of the top three finishers were on the far side of twenty. In fact, at age nineteen, winner Michelle Kwan seemed like an old timer, what with fourteen-year-old Sarah Hughes and fifteen-year-old Sasha Cohen chomping at her heels.
