Ape TV

By now, everyone has seen the original "Planet of the Apes" film or one of its four sequels. But a lot of us who were born too late to experience the features first-hand got our initial exposure to the franchise through the 1974 TV series. This is, as far as I know, the only website dedicated to the "POTA" series starring Roddy McDowall, Ron Harper, and James Naughton. It's a simple, clean-looking page containing terse plot summaries, cast lists, and a few color photos from the program. There's information on the TV movies (re-edited from the episodes into two-hour features) and links where you can purchase videotapes and Ape action figures. Until a more detailed study of this series comes our way, this site will have to stand as our authoritative source for POTA TV information.
