The acknowledged Winogrand acolyte of the Web is at it again, with this superb collection of new photographs from the New York City streets by Mason Resnick, host of the e-zine, "Black and White World." Concise technical notes and a brief essay on photographic intention provide context, though Resnick, like Garry Winogrand, believes the photograph should be able to stand alone, without words to support its meaning. Even the pictures not quite up to Winogrand standards are instructive...showing just how hard it really is to make it look easy. Fast-loading jpegs make navigating this site a breeze.
