Medical Antiques.Com is a fascinating site with a touch of gruesome thrown in. Dr. Douglas Arbittier has done an excellent job documenting antique medical equipment. Take a look at the Civil War saws and then wonder how anyone ever survived the surgery. Beware of looking at the enema and stomach pump shown from the 1860s if you have a squeamish stomach.
