This Is Your Brain on Beer

Hey kids, here's a news flash: alcohol, the same thing that turned your Uncle Louie's brain into a pile o' mush, could have a similar affect on you. A new study reported on here has concluded that teens who drink heavily suffer from imapired thinking and memory lapses. As of yet, doctors are unsure whether the fact that teens' brains are still developing means they are more or less likely to suffer irreparable brain damage as a result of their imbibing. Still, it's chilling to think that those weekend keggers will have the same--and possibly worse--effect on a teen's brain as they would on a lifelong lush. Keep that in mind the next time someone challenges you to a round of Jello Shots.
