Peekaboo ICQ

Site: http://www.antionline.com/cgi-bin/AntiLinks.cgi?url=http://news.

What's the latest target for ambitious hackers? It might just be ICQ, the instant messaging service owned by AOL. Says here in the pages of CNET that a longtime ICQ customer had his identity stolen by a cyberrapscallion who demanded a ransom before he would give it back. The article goes on to point out the many reasons why ICQ and other instant messaging technologies are especially vulnerable to security breaches, especially so-called Trojan horse viruses. Clearly, if it's secure communication you want, you're advised to "seek" elsewhere.
