"FinAid," otherwise known as "The Financial Aid Page," is without doubt the most comprehensive source of scholarship and financial aid information on the Internet. The page's author, Mark Kantrowitz, who has also written several books on financial aid, is adept at simplifying and breaking down the various components of financial aid so it is relatively easy to understand. Included are articles on scholarship "scam" organizations (of which there are many), links to free scholarship searches, information on subsidized and unsubsidized loans, and much, much more. In short, this site is a "must" for all school counselors, college-bound students, and their parents.
