Rumors, rumors, rumors... They make great fun

Site: http://www.themacjunkie.com/archives/3.1.00.oldrumors.html

I love rumor sites. I really do. They're so entertaining. This is one of those pages I have bookmarked so I can check almost every day. You know, to see what people "think" the fruit company is doing. Let's admit it. Ever since Steve Jobs took over, the Cupertino headquarters have been sealed tighter than the Langley headquarters. So when these rumor sites come up with the latest "news," they're most likely making stuff up. And what great creativity some people have! This site put it all together. As for the reliability of the content, I've found at least one thing to be true: if the "rumor" refers to Apple products more than two weeks ahead, it's probably someone's creativity at work. By the time true "rumors" are "exclusively" published at these sites, CNet knows about it, ZDnet knows about it, the Boston Globe knows about it, and even those incompetent stock analysts--some of whom still have AAPL stock at a hold--will know about it. Now, folks, that's not a "rumor." That's a "news."
