Top » Computer Security & PrivacyHackers: Out with the new, in with the old?Site: http://www.wired.com/news/politics/0,1283,34617,00.htmlA wave of criticism has risen in the aftermath of the recent denial-of-service (DoS) attacks on Yahoo!, Ebay and other e-commerce sites. A hacker from way back called "Gramps" disses the recent DoS onslaughts as uncreative and pointless: "We all knew this could be done, so what was gained? The kids who did this are nothing more than mosquitoes--annoying little ankle biters." Is Gramps right, or does he need to hang up his keyboard? Read the whole story at Wired online.
