Universities fight back

After a string of recent and disturbing security breaches at major universities, academia is fighting back. University computer systems, often open and accessible for their students, are also known as "the Achilles' heel of the Internet" by online security experts. Only this week officials at James Madison U found "zombie" code on many of its school's PCs. The code was attached to the Trin00 hacking tool, but officials "don't believe the computers were used in the recent DoS attacks."
