cannonball--I'm there, man

If you're like me, after a few years spent spanking local drivers on the highways (I drive a '94 Vette ZR-1...so I mean, hey...), you start yearning to take on some "real" drivers. One of the greatest movies ever made was "Cannonball Run." But did you know those races still go on? Yup, that's right, baby. And I'm GOING ! The race is now called "One Lap of America," but the organizer is the same guy from "Cannonball." One problemo I have with the rules (posted on their website): "...competitors will conform to all highway laws...Observed violations...will result in immediate disqualification." Gimme a break! We'll see about that one. It’s pretty damn hard to "observe" a ZR-1 doing 193mph!
