The Headless Way

Site: http://www.headless.org/introduction.html

The Headless Way is an approach which uses techniques to discover who you really are. It investigates the question, "Who am I?" This is a technique pioneered by Douglas Harding, who began his investigations in the 1930s. He noted that from a few feet, he saw himself as human. Close up he might be a nose or a hand. Closer still a cell or part of a cell. Similarly, as he viewed himself from a greater distance, he became less and less human. Rather, a part of something greater. For example, from the Moon he would be just a small part of the Earth. From the Milky Way, part of a star system. This website contains many resources, but the following pages are exercises which enable you to gain a greater understanding of yourself.
