"Sing Out!" Logs On!

Now in its 50th year, Sing Out! is a non-profit organization that publishes a quarterly folk music journal. A goodly portion of the current and recent past issues are now available on line, along with a list of all the other cool stuff you're missing if you don't buy the magazine or subscribe. Each issue comes with music and lyrics for new and traditional songs from across the folk genre; the neat thing about the website is, you can download MIDI versions of the songs to hear how they go if you can't read music. (As a performer myself, I really like this feature.) Sing Out! showed all the others how to do it in print--and now it looks like they're doing a great job online, as well.
