Where were you when the lights when out at eWorld?

I was there glued to my Macintosh Performa 631CD and logged into the exclusive Apple online service via a 14.4 baud connection. It was one of the saddest days in Apple’s history and a memorable one in my life online. The announcement had come only days before via an online membership meeting in eWorld’s auditorium. Shock ran rampant through the membership as Ted Leonisis announced that eWorld’s days were numbered and that all 147,500 of us would be cyber-homeless in a matter of days.
