Mac's back

After a few years down in the dumps--and that notorious October 1999 earthquake in Taiwan--Macintosh seems to be on the upsurge again. A good indicator is Apple's recent move to hook back up with Tech Data Corp., a wholesale distributor Apple cut ties with several years ago (in lean times). But does increasing distribution channels make sense when nearly every other computer manufacturer is leaning in the just the opposite direction--toward direct sales.
