Stuffed Chinchillas - Fun for the Whole Family

Suddenly, Chinchillas are all the rage. In the past these fluffy critters were made into fur coats. Now they're house pets and people think they're the greatest thing since jam. Go figure. Pay homage to these adorable animals by making one. With just 1/4 a yard of furry fabric, stuffing, thread and fishing line for whiskers, you too can be a part of the exciting, festive Chinchilla craze. I should warn you, this pattern does require some sewing skill. While it's not difficult, a basic understanding of how to deal with things like darts and sewing buttons evenly is helpful.
