Squirrel Hunt 2000

Did you know that squirrels are the number two cause of power outages in the U.S (second only to inclement weather)? This could be the answer to one of Patrick Crispen's challenging "Squirrel Hunt" questions, an Internet scavenger hunt designed to help users learn advanced Net-searching from the best searchers in the world! There are three levels of difficulty: the Junior Hunt (ages 12 and under), the Senior Hunt (ages 13-17), and the original Squirrel Hunt (age 18 and up). Each month ten questions are presented, each of which can be answered by searching the Internet. Winning participants must not only provide the correct answer, but also explain how they found the information on the Internet. Squirrel Hunts are free to join, and you can play as an individual or as part of a team. Patrick Crispen, the founder of the Squirrel Hunt, wrote one of the earliest comprehensive Internet tutorials available, called "Internet Roadmap," so rest assured that Squirrel Hunt questions are both challenging, and designed specifically to improve your Internet searching skills.
