We're Not in Beverly Hills No More

Woe is me. Recently I updated you on the lives of celebrities being stranger than fiction. I wasn't kidding folks, trust me. Jason Priestly, former "90210" star, has been sentenced to five days in jail for drunk driving and causing bodily injury. He pleaded "no contest." I'm trying to understand that so called "stars" are just ordinary people with a unique career that happens to pay them an insane amount of money. I have no earthy ideas what kind of pressures that money and/or fame puts on your shoulders. But... isn't anyone tired of hearing another story of a celebrity crashing their SUV, or in Jason's case, his Porsche? Or celebrities arrested drug charges or being stopped at airports for gun posession? Like it or not, someone should smack these folks upside the cranium and tell them that being under the spotlight every day should tell them that maybe they shouldn't put themselves in situations where they can make a huge mistake in judgement.
