readers and writers rejoice!

This is a great site. Dubbed Ms. Smith's English page, it's a collection of resources compiled by an eighth-grade English teacher. Ms. Smith's goal is to help make reading and writing fun for kids, and so she provides information on authors, word games, a host of writing and grammar resources, Internet exploration instructions, and a list of sites meant for other English instructors, so that they, too, can spice up their lesson plans. She's even featured a section entitled When your homework is done, which includes links to web pages about hobbies, animals, crafts, and sports. If your child needs help or inspiration with his or her English projects, point them in Ms. Smith's direction. Whether they have to write a short story, craft a poem, or research a report, she can help!
