An Organization For Retired Men

Retired men discover and enjoy the amenities of this organization. Membership is open to men retired from full-time employment. The purpose is to assist each other in renewing friendships, to provide opportunities, and to explore hobbies and activities. Men interested in golf are able to participate in tournaments, while tennis players can compete with others and improve their game. Many enjoy bowling or relax playing bridge or pinochle. You could be involved with computers, and amateur radio could be very appealing. Special events several times a year include your spouse or significant other. There is Ladies Day, dances and Christmas parties. Ideas on traveling will help plan that special vacation. The organization is based in different areas in California, but I e-mailed a member and was informed that Sons in Retirement will advise and assist you in starting SIR in your area. If you are not interested in forming a new group, this website is still interesting and informative.
