FALL Over 300 credit, non-credit and degree courses are offered online through The New School's Distance Instruction for Adult Learning (DIAL) program. The DIAL environment is very much like a traditional university. Each course is taught by a New School faculty member who provides lectures, poses and replies to questions, makes assignments, assesses student work, and gives feedback in class or in private. Students discuss topics by posting comments, questions, and observations that become part of the ongoing text-based seminar instruction.
