As the wretched cookie-cutter concrete bowl stadiums of the 1960s and 70s fall to the one-two punch of luxury boxes and dynamite, beautiful new stadiums are springing up in their place. Ballparks.com is a detailed guide to pro sports stadiums of all eras, but the highlight is the excellent wealth of information on stadiums opening now--such as Enron Field in Houston and Pac Bell Park in San Francisco--along with those slated for the future, including one in Portland for a baseball team the city doesn't even have. Photos, seating availability, directions, amenities and even financing information are included with most stadium sites. Ballparks.com covers baseball, football, hockey and basketball, but unfortunately doesn't include every stadium--Raymond James Stadium, the new home of the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is missing, for example. You can, however, revisit cherished stadiums of the past--not necessarily the Seattle Kingdome (though it's available), but the Boston Garden or Chicago's old Comiskey Park. Also provided are links to a virtual mall and maps to find particular stadiums
