Now here a an extremely useful site. It's hard enough to go to a doctor when you have a cold, but going for a gynecological exam is even harder for some. Shy about it? Embarassed? Nervous? Well, this site gently guides you through your first visit. Answering most common questions, it also include important facts such as your rights as a patient, finding a doctor, what the exam will be like, and even a glossary. If you are sexually active, it is imperative that you go get checked out, even if there is nothing wrong with you. If you aren't sexually active but around 16 or older, you should at least go for an annual visit. It's your body and you should feel comfortable about it.
