Crisis at the University of Chicago

Check out this site for a reminder of how divided university presidents and their faculty can be. On June 3rd this year, the President of the University of Chicago resigned. Despite his assertions to the contrary, it certainly seems as if he did so under pressure of faculty and alum outrage at his proposed "reforms." Rather alarmingly, the Trustees have said that these "reforms" will go ahead regardless. This site documents the whole process, which currently concerns finding and hiring a new President.
