The dark side of wine

Site: http://www.wine-lovers-page.com/wines/wt020698.shtml

Whether you're hosting a "black and white" party, a literary-themed event or a murder mystery party, Heart of Darkness wine can add an interesting touch to the evening. This almost black wine comes in a mysterious dark bottle with an eerie label, its name appearing in blood and bullet holes. Robin Garr's review of the wine is part of his down-to-earth wine lover's collection, which offers reviews on a variety of different wines from many different countries. In order to stay objective, Garr only reviews wines he has purchased with his own money from a retail store. His reviews include notes about the vineyard or label, taste descriptions, aging and breathing recommendations, as well as meal suggestions. For Heart of Darkness, he recommends French onion soup and baguettes. With such a light meal suggested, it makes you wonder if the wine will lead to an adventure, as the allusion to Joseph Conrad's masterpiece might suggest.
