Do As the Sumerians Did

Site: http://www.geocities.com/NapaValley/1172

"If the Sumerians could do it, you probably can too" is Jack Keller's philosophy. The Sumerians made wine and Jack's site is cram-packed with recipes, instructions, hints, and tips for making wine. The Sumerians lacked the good sense to live in Texas so they didn't have Jacks advantages. Based in Pleasanton, Jack makes wines from native Texan grape varieties, such as Mustang, as well as abundant local fruits and berries. Jack says "if it ain't toxic, it'll probably make good wine" and he has recipes for making wine from just about anything. He uses a light touch with lots of humor, but don't think the site is not serious. It contains solid practical information based on Jack's experiences, even down to suggestions for making wine labels. He's Vice President of the San Antonio Regional Wine Guild and a great guy. If you don't learn something from this site, then you didn't visit it.
