FYI, CIO!

Site: http://www.netlingo.com/inframes.html

NetLingo.com is a great source for everything you always wanted to know about computer terminology but were afraid to ask. This visually attractive, well-designed site calls itself "the semantics storehouse of cyberspace"--and with a continually expanding lexicon ranging from technical terms to acronyms, the description is right on target. Definitions are written for the uninitiated, in plain English, without a hint of condescension. There are links between definitions where appropriate, along with translations of common Web acronyms, smileys, and emoticons. A "pocket dictionary" is available for download for those who want access to instant definitions while surfing the Web, and users are invited to suggest additions to the word-stock. IMHO, Netlingo is useful and fun. SWDYT? :-)
