A tool you can really use

Mixed in with all the ad-filled commercial sites, every once in a while you find a page started by some real people who just wanted to create something useful for other people like them. Michelle and Michael Beyrer's The Wine Tool is just that type of site. This brand-new site (launched in March) contains reviews of wines that are widely available and reasonably priced. Their tasting notes use a dual rating system, emphasizing both quality and value. Each month, the site also features different wineries and recipes. This month, you can learn about Hacienda Winery and then decide what wine to serve alongside the Boneless Lamb Loin with Bourbon Molasses Sauce. Good, inexpensive wines can be the most difficult ones to find, so this is one "wine tool" you'll be glad to have.
